On behalf of Fr. Peter, please join us in offering a warm welcome to Father Cajetan 'CJ' Oleaghara as he begins his assignment at St. Rose this week!
A personal note from Fr. CJ:
"My name is Reverend Cajetan Uzoma Oleaghara. Ordained a catholic priest on 22nd August 2009, in the Catholic Diocese of Orlu, Nigeria. I served as a parochial vicar for 3 years, pastor for 12 years, and an Administrator of a hospital in our Diocese for some years before moving to the United States of America for a mission.
Currently, I am privileged to serve in the Bridgeport Diocese, with my primary assignment here in St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Parish, Newtown. I am grateful to Bishop Frank Caggiano for this opportunity and Reverend Father Peter Cipriani for his acceptance and pastoral leadership. My regard goes to Reverend Anh Vu, Msgr. Robert Weiss, Dn. Norman, Dn, Michael, Sr Mary Ellen, and the staff as well. To the entire wonderful parishioners of St. Rose of Lima, I say thanks for the warm welcome and hospitality.
