The final stages for preparation for the sacrament of
Confirmation are underway.
The basic tenets of the Catholic Church are studied, along
with the sacrament of Confirmation.
Service to others is emphasized and fifteen hours of
community service is required for all Confirmandi. The students
learn that Jesus is the model for justice and that our Church is a
powerful resource in helping us to achieve that justice. The role
of peacemaker in our family, church and community is stressed, as
well as developing skills to make good moral choices for
themselves.
